    Mrs. Kretschmar has taught in Lutheran schools for over 35 years and serves at St. Paul’s as a teacher/principal. A life-long Lutheran, Mrs. K was raised at St. Paul Grafton, and graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School before attending  Concordia, River Forest, where she earned a BA in Elementary Education. In 2019, she earned her  MA in Educational Technology from Concordia, WI. Mrs. K loves using technology with her students to prepare them for opportunities in the 21st century world. Her interest in 3D printing started when she made her first mold-a-rama figure at a museum at 15. She also likes stop-motion, coding, digital review games and video creation.

   Mrs. Kretschmar feels that Lutheran education is very important in today's world. It offers the opportunity to not only teach standard curriculum, but to share the  love of Jesus with students, build relationships,  and offer a much needed Christian view of the world.

   Mrs. K loves to read, paddleboard at the lake, visit Disney World, learn new things and spend time with her family. She and her husband Pastor K have been married 40 years.

Tom Wiemer

Mr. Wiemer has been teaching since 2018 and graduated from Concordia Chicago.  He previously taught in the South Dakota and North Wisconsin Districts.  He loves teaching because he gets to make a positive impact on his students, and gets to share the love of God with them every day.  He thinks Lutheran education is extremely important, because of the mission potential that each school holds.  Mr. Wiemer loves to hang out at the beach (Either Lake Michigan or Elkhart Lake), play video games, hike, fish, sing, and spend lots of time with his wife and kids. 

Mr. Wiemer's favorite Bible verse is Galatians 6:2 "Bear each other's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ,"  He likes how it points us to our vocation as Christians: loving God and loving our neighbor.

Music & Band

   Mr. Geoff Schuh serves the Sheboygan Area Lutheran School Association grade schools as the Music and Band Director. He teaches in several Lutheran and Catholic Schools throughout Sheboygan County. Mr. Schuh has also served at Sheboygan Lutheran High School. His children all attended St. John's Plymouth and Sheboygan Lutheran.

    A.K.A. “Pastor K.” grew up on the Texas Gulf coast in a small city called Nederland. The Lord used members in his home congregation, Holy Cross, to encourage him toward the pastoral ministry. He attended Jr. College at Concordia, Austin, followed by Concordia, River Forest, IL, where he met his future wife, Wendy (Neubauer).

    After graduation in 1980, he attended Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He and Wendy were married in the summer of 1981 at her home church, St. Paul Lutheran in Grafton, WI. In 1984, seminary placement took him to St. John’s in Dunnell, MN. After four years, he received a Divine Call to serve St. Paul’s.

    Pastor Matt Shive was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate work at Concordia University Chicago and from there attended Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne. While attending CUC he met his wife Susie and together they have been blessed with five beautiful children. It is a privilege to serve at St. Paul’s church and school.

    Mrs. Roeh grew up in Sheboygan, where she attended Bethlehem Lutheran School from kindergarten to 8th grade. She went to South High School and continued to participate in church services by singing solos for church and weddings. 

    Mrs. Roeh has taught at schools in the Milwaukee Public School District and Sheridan Elementary School’s bilingual program. She is bilingual and received her bilingual certification in English as a Second language (ESL) from the University of WI-Oshkosh.  In 2020 Mrs. Roeh returned to her Lutheran Elementary roots, when she had the opportunity to take a position as a third and fourth grade teacher at St. Paul Lutheran School.  

    Mrs. Roeh enjoys working at St. Paul Lutheran School because not only does she share her passion for learning, but she gets to share the Gospel every day with her students. Mrs Roeh’s  favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 22:6: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Mrs. Roeh feels teaching children about our Lord and Savior is truly a gift she is excited to share.

    Mrs. Roeh enjoys reading, singing, genealogy and traveling with her husband and children. 

1st & 2nd Grades

    Mrs. Winter has taught in Illinois and at St. Paul’s for 19 years.  A lifelong Lutheran, she attended  Rockford Lutheran School for 7-12th grade and then continued her Lutheran education by attending Concordia University Wisconsin, where she earned a B.A. in  elementary education and met her husband, Dan. They have been married for almost 20 years and have two children. Their oldest son attends Sheboygan Lutheran High School and their daughter is at St. Paul. Their family attends St. Paul Lutheran Church.

    Mrs. Winter loves watching young learners make connections between things they know and new things they are learning. She loves helping young learners learn how to read and fall in love with reading! She enjoys doing author studies with her class that leads to a deeper appreciation of books. Mrs. Winter is always looking for fun new ways to teach reading and great new authors and books to share. Lastly, Mrs. Winter’s favorite part of teaching is sharing God’s love with her students! Her favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

    When Mrs. Winter is not teaching, she is busy being a mom taxi for all her children’s activities including watching many soccer games. Mrs. Winter loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, take long walks, and read.

Kindergarten

    Dustin Stielow teaches kindergarten. Previously, she worked at Trinity Lutheran School, where she was the lead daycare teacher for three years. Before teaching, Dustin worked for the Sheboygan Area Credit Union while pursuing a degree in education. 

    Dustin believe that knowledge is power. A child's education foundation begins in kindergarten. She is always looking for new ways to teach the children through new ideas, technology or projects in her classroom. 

    Outside of teaching, she loves to read, craft, and be with family. She is an avid researcher of her family history, and has a big scrapbook of her ancestry.

    Kathy Berg teaches early childhood classes for 4&5 year-olds. Her husband is Rev. John Berg, Asoc. Pastor at Trinity Sheboygan. They have been active members of the Lutheran community for 20 years.

    Mr. Tom Kind is a former teacher with a background in business and marketing. He holds a bachelors and masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in Business Administration focusing on non-profits and new media communications. Mr. Kind runs the website and several technological components for the school. He is also a 2nd generation alumnus of the school.

Title I Reading

    Lori Ladiges is a longtime teacher-educator, teacher, and educational consultant with over 40 years of experience in general education, special education, and literacy.

    She taught at Kohler Public Schools for 20 years as a learning disabilities specialist. Lori was a full-time professor for 17 years at Cardinal Stritch University, training preservice and inservice teachers, in the areas of literacy, special education, and nursing education. In addition, she advised action research students and practicum students, and served in numerous leadership roles at Cardinal Stritch University.

    Lori was a literacy interventionist in the Sheboygan Area School District for five years. She has presented at local, state, regional, national, and international literacy and special education conferences. Lori currently is an adjunct professor at Cardinal Stritch University, a part-time Title 1 Teacher for the Sheboygan Area School District, and is an educational consultant for various school districts.
